Terms of service

Last updated September 23, 2026

This page describes how the product handles data today. The final wording is being reviewed by counsel; what changes will be the words, not the behaviour.

The subscription

A subscription is per company, billed monthly by card through Stripe. The monthly price covers the company and its first person; each additional active person is charged at the per-person price for the rest of the month they join, and each month after. Deactivating a person stops their charge from the next billing period. Prices are shown on the pricing page and on the payment page before anything is charged.

If a payment fails

When a payment fails, nothing changes for ten days: everyone keeps full access while the card is updated. After ten days the company becomes read-only: everything can be seen, nothing can be changed. About ninety days after the failed payment the company is locked, and only the billing page remains available. A successful payment at any point restores full access immediately.

Retention and deletion

A locked company's data is kept for five years from the date it was locked, then permanently deleted. If an owner closes the company, the subscription ends and the company's data is deleted at once.

Your data

The company owns the records it creates. A copy can be requested from support. The platform operator does not open a company's records.

Acceptable use

The service is for managing a company's own maintenance work. Uploading content you have no right to, attempting to reach another company's records, or using the service to break the law are grounds for closing the account.

Under review

The terms for reactivating an account that was locked for non-payment are being reviewed by counsel. Until they are settled, a successful payment reactivates the account, as described above.
